ComApp.2 by Special Learning, Inc. is an awesome app that is wonderful for children with Autism or any other language disorder. This app helps your child express their wants and needs quickly and effectivly . This app is very colorful and has very nice pictures that are totally realistic and not cartoonish like some of the other communication apps in the market. This full version offers extensive cutomizationa and reporting functions. You can set up this app for your child any way you like. The app offers three pictures for each item so it can be based on your child so you can choose the pictures that are appriopraite for your child within the four catagories offered. The four catagories are: Food, Drinks, Clothing, and Toys. You are also able to add your own images as needed and add your own voice also. These options are wonderful if you need images that are based from your own home to make it even more familar to your child. You can also choose preset voices of 4 different options for the voice. You have the choice between 5 different themes/backgrounds to make it even more preset for your child. The picture size is adjustable also with either small or large images. The emotion icons can be set for word or phrases depending on what would work better for your child also. This app is very simple for any child to use and makes it one of the easiest on the market that I've found for a child to use. It's not a full AAC app but if you need your child to quickly and easily express their wants and needs this app is definatly for them. Highly Highly Highly recommended. This app is fantastic for any nonverbal child or children who can't speak or know very few words.The app itself has great color the pictures are very realistic looking. You can customize to meet your childs needs..it has key points for emergency, sick, potty and ect.
Plus a great layout and easy to navagate. To find things for example food or clothes.
The child can see the picture and hear the voice. An amazing app with two thumbs up for anyone who needs to communicate.
